Gladys Elrod

Gladys Elrod, 84, of Memphis, formerly of Paris, TN, passed away on Saturday, March 26. She was a retired dietician. She is survived by four daughters, Linda McCoy, Annette Gann, Barbara Stanfield and Donna Hulmes; four sons, Mike Elrod, Larry Elrod, Darryl Elrod and Brian Elrod; two sisters, Betty Jo Camp and Edna Mae Jones; two brothers, Charlie Camp and James Camp; 26 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ollie Mae Camp; her husband, Robert Elrod and one son, Robert Elrod. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 1 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7 at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis.
