Evelyn Ann Scott

Evelyn Ann Scott, 80, of Brighton, passed away on Saturday, November 20 at her home. Ms. Scott was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Terresa Haynes; one son, Chuck (Marie) Scott; three sisters, Carolyn Colburn, Martha Watkins and Betty (Wayne) Rixie; one brother, Darrell (Teri) Pilkington; three grandchildren, Matthew Scott, Bradley Haynes and Emily Scott; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hattie Pilkington; five brothers, Charles Pilkington, William Pilkington, George Pilkington, Bobby Pilkington and Alfred Pilkington and one sister, Margaret McClerkin. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Covington Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
