Ernest Elton McLillie

Services for Ernest Elton McLillie, 80, will be held Tuesday, November 28 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Covington Funeral Home.  Visitation is Monday night, November 27 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday, one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow Tuesday's service at Ravenscroft Memorial Cemetery.  Elton was a lifelong resident of Tipton County.  The second child born to Less and Janie Ruth McLillie, he married Betty Jane Ballard in 1956 and were married for fifty six years.  He is survived by his four children, Ken McLillie, Debbie McLillie, Robert McLillie and Gina McLillie; grandchildren, Brandi Huffman, Peyton Reed, Addison Davis; one great grandchild, Wilder Lily Huffman; three sisters, Carol Willis, Janet Wilkins and Patricia Jackson and three brothers, Gerry McLillie, Ronnie McLillie and Tim McLillie.  Elton was a member of the Brighton Church of Christ.  He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and three brothers, Louis Ray McLillie, Bobby McLillie and Farris McLillie.
