Erma Fewell

Erma Fewell, 81, of Atoka, passed away on Friday, October 26.  A retired mail order clerk for Sears, she is survived by one daughter, Kathy Lutz of Bartlett; one sister, Louise Barker of Sarah, MS; four grandchildren, Jamey, Kyle, Jessica and Kayla and seven great grandchildren, Aliya, Kyndall, Jackson, Grayson, Paisley, Cole  and Baby Harper, expected soon.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John Fewell; one daugher, Janet Lee; her parents, Notie Franklin and Verdie Mae Ferguson Cranford; two brothers, Wilford Cranford and Odell Cranford and two sisters, Doris Taylor and Gail Snelling.  She was the heart of our family and loved us dearly.  She was a social butterfly who never met a stranger.  She was one of a kind and will live in our hearts forever.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 29 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
