Ellen Carpenter

Ellen Carpenter, 84, of Randolph, passed away on Sunday, May 9. Mrs. Carpenter was a retired bookkeeper at Drummonds Elementary School and a member of the Randolph United Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Hall of Satellite Beach, FL, Tammy Haden of Niceville, FL and Jill McLane of Atoka; one son, Tim Carpenter of Burlison; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruby Sherrill Clark; her husband of 60 years, Tommy Carpenter and a brother, James Clark, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Randolph Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
