Elaine Shackelford

Margaret Elaine Carroll Shackelford, 53, of Atoka, passed away on Thursday, January 3.  Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 6 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  She was a medical transcriptionist for Stern Cardiovascular Group and a member of the Atoka Methodist Church.  She is survived by four sisters, Margie Carroll Cammack of Columbiana, AL, Patsy Carroll Scallions of Ripley, Teresa Carroll Tutor of Munford and Melinda Carroll Channell of Covington.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lewis and Margaret Lee Hazelrig Carroll and two brothers, Billy Gene Carroll and Anthony Lewis Carroll.
