Dorthia Roy

Dorthia Roy, 78, of Burlison, passed away on Saturday, February 3 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Ms. Roy was a retired assembler with B&H Electronics.

She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Juanita Petty, Betty Sue (Rickey) Forrester and Jamie Lee (Mikel) Smith, all of Munford; four sons, Porter Shelby Roy, Jr of Burlison, Michael Ray (Jackie) Roy of Paragould, AR, Larry Coleman (Selena) Roy of Munford and Fred Dale Roy of Munford; four brothers, Buck Forrester, Doc Forrester, Elmer Forrester and Terry Forrester; two sisters, Peggy Carpenter and Brenda Alexander; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Mary Elizabeth Chisum Forrester; one brother, Chester Forrester and three sisters, Annielou Ramsey, Linda Forrester and Connie Knight. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends beginning at noon on Wednesday and until service time at 2 p.m.
