Donna Cox

Donna Cox, 55, of Brighton, passed away on Sunday, May 26.  Ms. Cox was a retired production worker with Charms in Covington.  She is survived by two daughters, Ashley Cox of Brighton and Chelsea Cox Smits of Munford; her mother, Evelyn King of Oakland; two sisters, Debbie Doyle of Somerville and Wanda Story of Camden; one brother, Tommy Crook of Arlington and three grandsons, Jordan Cox, Jeremiah Cox and Jaxton Cox.  She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Crook.  Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29 at the Covington Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 30 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel in Oakland with interment to follow in Fayette County Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service on Thursday at the funeral home in Oakland.
