Donna Byrd

Donna Lee Parker Byrd, born in Wynne, Arkansas on October 27, 1940, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021, in Jackson, Tennessee. Her greatest joy was time spent with family. She always looked forward to visits from grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ms. Donna is survived by her children, Wally (Sheri) Burdette and Kenny (Linda) Burdette, of Covington, and Mitch (Sonja) Stegall, of North Wilksboro, N.C.; her grandchildren, Nathan Burdette and Jared Burdette, both of Covington, Laura Namwises, of Drummonds, Bobbi Vandergrift, of Memphis, Dallas Koscho, of Atoka, and Skylar Stegall, of North Wilksboro, N.C.; her great – grandchildren, Noah Bailey, Sloan Vandergrift, Easton Burdette, and Eley Kate Burdette, and three siblings, Kenneth Parker, Linda Crumley, and Carolyn Beier. Ms. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Byrd; her parents, Freeman and Urafay Edwards Parker, and two siblings, Royal Parker and Lola Buchanan. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at 4 p.m., at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery in Covington. There is no visitation planned at this time.
