David Wimberley

David Wimberley, 81, of Covington, passed away on Thursday, September 3. Mr. Wimberley was a retired welder. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Wimberley; two daughters, Tracy (Tony) Sullivan of Brighton and Tammie Palmer of Covington; one step-son, Dale Delk of Munford; one step-daughter, Tammie Moody of Bartlett; one brother, Thomas Wimberley of Oxford, MS; one sister, Peggy Salmon of Oxford, MS; one grandson, Scott Sullivan; three step-grandsons, Brandon Delk, Michael Moody and P. J. Reed; three step-granddaughters, Emily Long, Missy Dunlap and Felicia Reed; two great grandchildren, Braelyn and Tanner and seven step-great grandchildren, Riley, Jacob, Bailey, Nicholas, Abby, Madison, Lilly, Tristan and Addison. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 12 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
