D. W. Fletcher, Jr.

D. W. Fletcher, Jr., 76, of Burlison, passed away on Monday, July 19 at his home. He was the owner of Fletcher's Garage and a member of the Gilt Edge Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Kerley Fletcher; two daughters, Cari Dee (Dewayne) Dawson of Covington and Katie Lyn (Will) Patterson of Burlison; one son, Casey Lee (Amanda) Fletcher of Covington; one step-son, Rickie Kerley of Henning; one step-daughter, Angie (Kurt) Winkler of Jackson; one sister, Delane (Billy) Waxler of Eads; five grandchildren, Payton Patterson, Alex Fletcher, Fletcher Patterson, Tucker Patterson and Mallorie Page and two step-grandchildren, Colton Winkler and Cayce Winkler. He was preceded in death by his parents, D. W. and Eunice Pauline Hartsfield Fletcher and his wife, Janie Boswell Fletcher. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, July 22 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21 at the funeral home.
