Connie Faye Wright passed away on June 30, 2022 at the age of 78. Connie was born on June 11, 1944. She was a lifelong citizen of Randolph, TN and a member of Randolph Assembly of God. Connie was known as a hard worker who held many jobs, including owner of Giltedge Cafe and caregiver to Mr. Moochie Shelton. She was also a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, being outside, taking care of her beloved husband of 61 years, and making her ever famous fried potatoes. She loved to dance, laugh and spend time with her family and friends. Connie is preceded in death by her parents, William Ward and Lucy Woods Vaden; two sisters, Jewel Owens and Linda Reed; two stepbrothers, Oliver Owen Vaden and Earl Vaden, and her son-in-law, James “JC” Holley. She is survived by her beloved husband Robert E. “Red” Wright; her sister, Jeannie Beckman; her children, Anita Holley, Patricia Meadors (Tim), Melinda Brackey (Charlie), Robbie Childress (James “Bubba” Perry), Chris Wright (Annette, Kristin, Ashley, and their four grandchildren); her grandchildren, Brian Meadors, Adam Cooper (Lindsay), Bobby Meadors, John Robert Cooper (Amber), Timmy Lee Meadors, James Holley (Stormy), Brittney Walker, Shannon Boswell, Josie Wright (Emily Jerles, mother); her great grandchildren, Dalton Meadors, Kaitlyn Perkins, Charles W. Brackey, Waylon Cooper, Kyle Perkins, Kylee Brackey, James Holley III, Levi Holley, Cameron Brackey, Promise Holley, Angel Holley and River Boswell. A celebration of life will be held at 1195 Quito Drummonds Road Drummonds, TN on July 17th at 2 pm. Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home.
