Clyde Gibson, 89, of Covington, passed away on Sunday, September 27. Mr. Gibson was a retired artist with World Wide Art Studios, a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Tabernacle United Methodist Church. He is survived by four sons, Leslie (Maxine) Gibson of Munford, Willie (Terry) Gibson of Biloxi, MS, David Gibson of Gates, TN and Ken (Mary Ann) Gibson of Whiting, NJ; one daughter, Shirley (Henry) Scarbrough of Covington; one brother, Billy Gibson of Lakeland; six grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30 at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside service at Covington Funeral Home.
