Clarence Harwell, 85, of Brighton, passed away on Monday, June 25. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27 at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. There is no scheduled visitation. Mr. Harwell was a 1950 graduate of Catholic High school in Memphis, a former U. S. Marine SGT, a retired fire-fighter with the Naval Air Station-Memphis and a self employed field rep and eviction specialist. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Harwell; two daughters, Audria Guess and Cecila Tagavilla; four grandchildren, Kelsey Guess, Darbie Guess, Cameron Tagavilla and Alexis Tagavilla; three sisters, Icy Brown, Shirley Davis and Luci Roberts and one brother, James Harwell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie B. and Sally McGregor Harwell; five brothers, Roy Harwell, Tate Harwell, Charles Harwell, Clyde Harwell and Walter Robert "Snooks" Harwell and one sister, Dorothy Brimson.
