Cindy Foree

Cynthia “Cindy” Foree, age 71, of Covington, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. She was a nurturer at heart, and spent many years as a sitter and nanny, caring for children and animals alike. Mrs. Cindy especially loved babies, and mainly sat with sets of twins and triplets in her 20+ years as a caregiver. She enjoyed photography, and even tried her hand at catering once upon a time. Mrs. Cindy never met a stranger, and would always find something to talk about with everyone she met. She touched many lives, and will be missed dearly. She is survived by her children, Jason (Gail) Foree, Jeremy (Melissia) Foree, and D. J. Foree; five grandchildren, Dyllan, Dalton, Caitlin, Cobie, and Grace, and three siblings, Vicki Klinger, Gene (Renee) Reed, and Jeff (Robin) Reed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Ronald Pickenpaugh and Donna McIntire Reed. A memorial celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Covington Funeral Home. Visitation for friends and family will be from 9am until 11am, with the service to begin at 11am. Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home.
