Christopher Mills

Christopher Alan “JC” Mills, 54, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at his home in Atoka. Chris served in the US Naval Reserves and was a proud member of Steamfitters Local 614 working as a welder and pipefitter. He was extremely skilled at his craft and truly enjoyed teaching the younger generations. Chris is survived by his wife, Alicia; his daughter, Jessica (Taylor) Locke; his grandchildren, Georgia and Anniston Locke, and Jesse Nelson and Jesse’s father, Nick Nelson. He is also survived by his father, Ronnie Mills; his mothers-in-law, Paula Cwikiel and Linda O’Guin; his sisters, Nanci (Eddie) Hughes and Daphne (Dave) Obercorn; his brothers, Kirk (Amy) Mills, Jerrod Mills, and Grant (Jennifer) Mills; sister-in-law, Kim (Larry) Riggs, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Macy Mills; two brothers, Terry Earnest and Ricky Earnest; his mother, Connie Mills and his father-in-law, Jess O’Guin. Services for Mr. Mills will be held at Covington Funeral Home on Monday, May 15th. Visitation be from 12 noon until 2 pm, with the funeral to begin at 2 pm. Interment will follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery in Covington.
