Charlotte Huffman Williams

Charlotte Huffman Williams, 80, of Brighton, passed away on Thursday, January 21. Ms. Williams was a graduate of Brighton High School, a member of the Brighton A.R.P. Church and partner in Williams Generics. She is survived by one daughter, LeeAnn (Mark) Smith of Fayetteville, TN; three grandchildren, Joseph Smith, Marlee Smith and Mattie Smith and six sisters, Edith Hanks, Mary Pannell, Nora Dickey, Carolyn (Joe) Sides, Margarette Huffman and Joe Anne Alsbrook, all of Brighton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Neverette Lafayette and Annie Mae Marshall Huffman; her husband, Louis Williams; two sisters, Janice Boswell and Shirley Kennedy; two brothers, Thomas Gwinn “Tucker” Huffman and Neverette Lafayette Huffman, Jr. and one granddaughter, Charlotte Elizabeth Ehrhardt. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 24 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Indian Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 23 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to either the Brighton ARP Church or the Indian Creek Cemetery.
