Carey McCalvin, 77, of Lakeland, passed away on Monday, March 19. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21 at the Covington Funeral Home. He was a retired carpenter and a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by one son, Carey McCalvin, Jr. of Bethel Springs, TN; one daughter, Ellen Susor of Lakeland; one brother, Buford McCalvin of Covington and seven grandchildren.
