Buford McCalvin

Buford McCalvin, 77, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday, February 26. He was a retired truck driver with Helena Chemicals. He leaves his wife of 28 years, Sue Rose McCalvin; two daughters, Shelia (David) Francis and Amy McCalvin, both of Covington; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and his special friend and caregiver, Joyce Wilbanks. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie McCalvin; his mother, Mary Beasley, his step-father, David Beasley; his father, Carey McCalvin and two brothers, Euford McCalvin and Lindon McCalvin. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feburuary 28 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
