Bryan Lee Philippi

March 28, 1957 — January 5, 2024

Munford, TN

Bryan Lee "Granpoppy" Philippi, 66, of Munford, passed away on Friday, January 5.  Bryan Lee was a retired HVAC Superintendent with MCC and Knight & Wilson and was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kaffy Philippi; two daughters, Shelia (Steven) Gilmore of Olive Branch and Deborah Beumee of Cheyene, WY; one son, Josh  (Cindy) Rakowsky of Oakland; one sister, Kathy Carson of Denver, CO; nine grandchildren, Anthony (Jennifer) Ritch, Summer (Hunter) Walker, Natalie Gilmore, Kody Gilmore, J. Rakowsky, Jordanne Rakowsky, Kayla Philippi, Ariel Philippi, Noah Beumee; nine great grandchildren, Joe Wynne, Bradlee Wynne, JD Anderson, Aiden Ritch, Hudson Walker, Audrey Walker, Chloe Jacoby, Braxton Burchett and Chicago Resler and one one the way.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Lou Ann Philippi and one son, Bryan Lee Philippi, Jr. and one great grandchild, Remington Paulson. 

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 27 at the Covington Funeral Home with interment to follow in R. H. Munford Cemetery.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
