Brenda Fay Hooks

Brenda Fay Hooks, 72, of Brighton, passed away on Saturday, January 29. Mrs. Hooks is survived by her husband of 56 years, Darrell Hooks; one son, Steve Hooks of Brighton; one daughter, Samantha (Richard) Cook of Truman, AR; five grandchildren, Blake (Lauryn) Hooks, Jessie Hooks, Amber Sisco, Tyler Bryant and Stephanie (Johnathan) Stotts, five great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Wilson of Brighton. Brenda was a faithful follower of Christ, loved with her whole heart and was loved by all. As a demonstration of her love, Brenda was an organ donor. She willingly gave God the praise and glory and was not ashamed of her God. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and most faithful servant to all whom she loved. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 5 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Arlington. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
