Brenda Kay Feirn

February 21, 1951 — June 26, 2021

It is with such sadness within the family of Brenda Kay Feirn that she went to be with The Lord at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Covington, TN on June 26, 2021, at the age of 70. She was born February 21, 1951 in Truman, Arkansas. Mrs. Feirn will be greatly missed and remembered by her husband of 16 years, Gary Len Feirn. She will also be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, family, and countless others she impacted along her life. She served for several years as an LST aid, or caretaker, at the Conway Human Development Center and took great pride in her work for the clients that she cared for. She was a born again Christian and a true Godly woman, a woman who loved much and was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her retired years loving on her husband and spoiling her grandchildren that she loved so dearly. She is a person who will always be remembered for her kindness. She never met a stranger, she was willing to help anyone in need, and her heart extended far out past her arms’ reach with love and a good friendly cup of coffee. She was passionate about her vegetable garden and a few flowers in her yard. The one thing she enjoyed the most was visiting her siblings, grandchildren, and family. Some of the best days to catch her smiles were when she was on the lake fishing with her brother-in-law, Russell. On those days, the race was on! It was all about “the big catch for the day.” She is survived by her husband, Gary Len Feirn; three sons, Gary Wayne Bevel of West Helena, AR, Dennis Lee Bevel of Conway, AR, and Thomas Allen Bevel of Conway, AR; three stepsons, Russell Feirn of Covington, TN, Gary Len Feirn, Jr. of New Orleans, LA, and Richard Feirn of Arlington, TN; two brothers, Dwight (Helen) Barnes and Mac D Barnes, both of Conway, AR; four sisters, Wanda Noel of Conway, AR, Madeline Melton of Quitman, AR, Linda Bevel of Conway, AR, and Glenda (William) Allen of Conway, AR; five grandchildren, Deidra Godfrey of Bono, AR, Jonathon Bevel of Clanton, AL, Gavin Bevel of West Helena, AR, and Thomas Bevel and Maddie Bevel, both of Wooster, AR, and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Pearlie Seay Barnes. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29 at the Covington Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
