Bonnie Wilson

Bonnie Laverne Short Wilson, 77, of Covington, passed away on Tuesday, May 29.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 1 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 31 at the funeral home. The widow of Royce Wilson, she was the former administrative assistant at WKBL Radio in Covington and a member of the Munford Baptist Church.  She is survived by two sons, Don (Vicki) Wilson of Covington and Todd (Patsy) Wilson of Munford; one brother, Stanley (Ailene) Short of Brighton; two sisters, Jean Fleming of Charleston and Paulette (George) Watkins of Covington; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, C. B. and Beatrice Short; one brother, W. C. Short and one sister, Betty Faught.  The family requests that any memorials be made to either St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or Munford Baptist Church.
