Bobby Neil Lindsey, 73, of Brighton, passed away on Wednesday, February 9 at Baptist Hospital Tipton. Mr. Lindsey was a retired electrical engineer having worked at both the Charms Company and Hershey. He was a graduate of Byars Hall High School and the Tennessee Vocational Technical School. He is survived by his wife, Diane McDivitt Lindsey; his mother, Helen Lindsey of Brighton; one son, Brandon (Angela) Lindsey of Evansville, IN; two step-sons, Marty (Tab) McDivitt and Michael (Jennie) McDivitt, both of Covington; six grandchildren, Megan (Harley) Whitley of Atoka, Jon Daniel (Jordan) McDivitt of Munford, Alli McDivitt of Atoka, Hunter McDivitt of Atoka, Makayla Lindsey of Evansville, IN and Micajah Lindsey of Evansville, IN; two great grandchildren, Bryce Whitley and Lainey Whitley, both of Atoka; one brother, Rickey (Nan) Lindsey of Covington and one sister, Brenda Smith of Chattanooga. He was preceded in death by his father, Rephus Benton Lindsey, Jr.; one son, Mark Lindsey; one brother, Kenneth Lindsey and one brother in law, Frank Smith. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 13 at the Magnolia Gardens Cemetery in Covington. There is no visitation planned and friends are invited to gather at the cemetery.
