Bobbie Dow Roach, 84, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday, October 14. Ms. Roach was a retired factory worker with Mueller Brass in Covington. She is survived by five children, Pat (Mitchell) Billings, Carol (Bobby) Womack, Roxie (Greg) Hopkins, Jessie Boswell and Leonard Roach, all of Covington; six grandchildren, Chris Billings, Daniel Terran, Clifton Lee Hopkins, Brittany Hankins, Kerry Wayne Boswell and Amanda Boswell; 11 great grandchildren, Adam (Kaci) Billings, Tyler (Jourdain) Billings, Alaina Billings, Damia Terran, Aspen Hankins, Elise Boswell, Hazel Boswell, Wade Boswell, Audry Boswell, Jackson Boswell and Brianna Wooten and three great-great grandchildren, Myles Billings, Jaxon Billings and Raiden Billings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Stella Mae Snow Currington; her husband, Al Roach; three children, Jackie Roach, Kenny Roach and Bobbie Dell Hankins; three grandchildren, Alex Billings, Little Vince Hankins and Candice Hankins and her siblings, Willie Bearden, Marie Russell, Maxine Bone, Yvonne Jackson, Virgil Currington, Doyle Currington and Dexter Bud Currington. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 17 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
