Bob Hicks

Bob Hicks, 89, of Burlison, passed away on Tuesday, July 27 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Mr. Hicks was the co-owner of H & H Towing and a U. S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hicks; two sons, Jimmy Hicks and Jeff (Angie) Hicks; four grandchildren, Jason Hicks, Jimmy E. Hicks, Erica Hicks and Logan Crowder and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and TheioDoshie Hicks; one daughter, Shelia Roshene Hicks and one sister, Mary Sue Creasy. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, July 30 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Covington Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 29 at the funeral home.
