June 28, 1949 — February 1, 2018

Beverly June Meyer (Ahrens) age 68 of Brighton, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning, February 1st, 2018 in her home with her family by her side. Beverly was born June 28th, 1949 in Denver, Colorado.  She married James Meyer May 17, 1986. They moved from Denver, Colorado to Tennessee in 1993 where they built a life together. Beverly spent many years working as an office manager and medical assistant in Memphis until she retired.  She enjoyed shopping, was a member of multiple bowling leagues, enjoyed fishing and camping, dog races and hitting the slot machines! She loved playing card games and loved date night with her husband. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart and she enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. Beverly is survived by her loving husband James Meyer of Brighton, TN. Son and daughter-in law Scott and LaDonna Meyer of Longview, WA. Daughter and son-in-law Kerri (Carson) and Todd Lowe of Memphis, TN and daughter Kelly Morris of Lincoln City, OR. Siblings Barbara Ahrens, Brian Ahrens, Dennis Deden, Mike and Judy Deden, Steve and Rolain Deden, Jan and Kevin Stambaugh, Angie and a multitude of cousins, nephews, nieces and other loved extended family. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents Ollie and Mary Ann Deden and siblings John Deden and Deedee Eades. Services will be held Tuesday, February 6 at Covington Funeral Home, 3499 Highway 51 South in Covington, TN 38019. Viewing will be from 4-6pm with service to follow at 6.
