Betty Harris

Betty Harris, 83, of Covington, passed away on Saturday, February 27. Ms. Harris was a retired accountant with Alpha One Leasing and also a former correction officer with the Whiteville Correction Facility. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by one daughter, Linda (Harold) Simpson of Covington; one son, David Harris of Middleton, TN; five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10 with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
