Betty Jane Byrd

Betty Jane McCulley Byrd, 79, of Covington, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020. She was born in Fayette County and moved to Tipton County shortly thereafter and lived in Tipton County all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Byrd; her parents, William and Annie Mae McCulley; four brothers, Alfice McCulley, Raymond McCulley, Billy McCulley and Jimmy McCulley and two sisters, Linnie Frances Shires and Patsy Glass. She leaves one sister, Linda Rogers of Munford and one brother, Bobby McCulley of Atoka and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, June 24 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
