Bettie Florence Cole Goodin

Bettie Florence Cole Goodin, 89, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday, February 10. Ms. Goodin was a retired production worker with Kimberly-Clark. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, J.M. Goodin; one daughter, Patricia Ann Goforth and her husband, Charles Allen Goforth; one son, Jimmy Cole Whitesides and his wife, Sharon Ann Ray Whitesides; three grandchildren, Leslie Ann Goforth Brock and her husband, Brian Harvey Brock, Rebecca Leigh Goforth Gentry and her husband, William Rayburn Gentry and Brian Cole Whitesides and his wife, Kelly Marie Paige Whitesides; six great grandchildren, Charles Avery Brock, William Allen Gentry, Gavin Luke Gentry, Peyton Cole Whitesides, Ava Marie Whitesides and Tanner Lane Whitesides; one brother, Patrick Henry Cole and his wife, Janelle Hathcock Cole and one sister, Patsy Mirenda Cole Turner and her husband, Tommy Alfred Turner. Funeral services for Ms. Goodin will be private. Covington Funeral Home has charge of services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
