Ben Little

Ben Little, 81, of Garland, passed away on Wednesday, June 15. Mr. Little was a retired Sgt. 1st Class in the Tennessee Army National Guard, having served 30 years, was the former Mayor of Garland and a member of the Garland Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Annette Poole Little; one son, Brad Little of Garland; one sister, Janie Little Upchurch of Nashville and three nieces, Ellen, Emily and Elise. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Margaret Little and one daughter, Kristie Leigh Little. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 19 at the Garland Baptist Church with interment to follow in Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church.
