Barbara Gibson

Barbara Ann Gibson, age 77, of Covington, passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, February 25, 2023. She loved babies, and spending time with her family, and was always smiling that childlike smile of hers. To mourn her passing, she leaves her sisters, Dorothy Graham Linda Poole and Brenda Collins, and her brother, Harvey Gibson, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Porter Gibson, Sr. and Elgie Marie Floyd Gibson, and her sisters, Mary Pruitt, Joyce Gibson, and Becky Elam. Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 1st at Covington Funeral Home. Reverend Tim Herring will officiate the service, and Harvey Gibson, Cody Fuller, William Norvell, Justin Pilkington, and Robert Tucker will serve as pallbearers. Interment will take place in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
