Annette Warsing

May 15, 1944 — December 1, 2023

Brighton

Annette Warsing, age 79, passed away at her home in Brighton on Friday, December 1, 2023.  She and her twin sister were born in Morrilton, Arkansas on May 15, 1944, to parents Homer and Opal McDaniel Bearden.  The legendary rivalry of who was the “baby” of the family also came to life that day, for many arguments were had through the years about whether Ms. Annette was the first- or second-born twin!

Ms. Annette was retired from St. Vincent Hospital in Arkansas, where she worked as a data processing clerk for over 30 years.  She loved the Lord, and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, where she had been attending since 2015.  Always laughing and making others laugh, she enjoyed being social and visiting with friends at the Senior Center, playing dominoes and gin rummy.  Ms. Annette was a strong and Godly woman, and she will be missed a great deal by those that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Mike) Kinney; her granddaughters, Cecilia Musick, Maria Romero, Nikki (Matthew) Chamblee, and Madeline Jade Heffner, and her great-granddaughter and best friend, Isabella Romero.  She was preceded in death by her son, Roger Redpath; her parents, Homer and Opal Bearden, and her five sisters.

Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to Liberty Baptist Church or the Tipton County Commission on Aging in honor of Ms. Annette.
