Annette Miles

Rebecca Annette Miles, age 85, of Burlison, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Memphis. She was a homemaker and caretaker for others, a lifelong member of the Gilt Edge Church of Christ, and a wonderful Christian woman, always ready to help those in need. She loved to sit out by her flower garden, full of irises and roses. She also enjoyed cooking, and didn’t mind sharing her recipes. Ms. Annette meant so much to so many people, and was a full book of knowledge and sage advice for anyone who would listen. Ms. Annette leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 66 years, William Louis “W. L.” Miles; three children, Mark (Sharon) Miles, Freda (Steve) Jones, and Trent (Lynn) Miles; three grandchildren whom she was incredibly proud of, Lena (Lee) Goins, April (Will) Stafford, and LTJG Timothy Miles, and her Gilt Edge Church of Christ family and friends. Services for Ms. Annette will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Covington Funeral Home. Visitation for friends and family will begin two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
