Alvin Sherman

Alvin Sherman, 88, of Memphis, passed away on Thursday, March 15.  Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 16 at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.  Mr. Sherman was a retired air mask technician with the Memphis Fire Dept.  He is survived by one son, Warren M. Sherman of Memphis; two grandsons, Thomas Stephenson and Nicholas Stephenson and six great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Joey, Jesse, Luke, Zachary and Caleb.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sherman; his daughter Kathleen Stephenson and a brother, Earl Sherman.
