Alma Lowrance

Alma Lowrance, 84, of Covington, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023.  Ms. Lowrance was aloving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was a God fearing woman and a longtime member of the Charleston Full Gospel Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Martha Jean Taylor; four grandchildren, Rickey Lee Lowrance, Jr., Jeff Lowrance, Honnoll Taylor and Sheena Hazlerig; seven great grandchildren, J. D. Lowrance, Elexis Taylor, T. J. Taylor, Gage Taylor, Michael Hazlerig, Bobby Lowrance, Logan Lowrance and one brother, James Rogers.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Wesley and Alma Rogers, her husband, Rabon Lowrance; one son, Rickey Lowrance, Sr.; one sister, Ruth Gross, one brother, Roy Rogers and one great-granddaughter, Madison Lowrance.  

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 2 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 1 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
