Alice Parham, 80, of Covington, passed away on Sunday, January 9 at Methodist Hospital Germantown. Ms. Parham was retired from Wal-Mart where she worked for many years. She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” Austin of Springfield, MO and Leigh Ann ( Zachary) Griffin of Bartlett; two sons, Mark Edward (Melissa) Parham of Covington and Terry Dale Parham of Henning; two sisters, Shirley Harrington-Dildine of McKenzie and Mary Vinson of Roseau, MN; one brother, Ronnie Rogers of Weslaco, TX; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Dale Parham, her parents, Harold and Charlene Rogers and one sister, Jean Gallimore. Alice was a dedicated wife of 50 years, a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was much loved by all of her family. She was a Christian woman. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 14 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
