Alfred Chaney

Alfred Blake Chaney, 82, of Covington, passed away Friday, December 4. Mr. Chaney was a member of the Covington Church of Christ, a veteran of the United States Air Force, and a production manager at Clopay. He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Stewart Chaney, and one brother. Mr. Alfred is survived by two sons, Christopher Blake (Sherry) Chaney and Ronald Dale (Jenipher) Chaney, both of Covington; two granddaughters, Toni Nicole Chaney and Lauron Elizabeth Chaney; two grandsons, Christopher Joshua Chaney and Jonathan Thomason Chaney; two brothers, and five sisters. Funeral services for Mr. Chaney will be held at the Covington Funeral Home on Sunday, December 6. Visitation will be held from 1pm until 3pm in the chapel, with the funeral beginning at 3pm. Interment will follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.
