Alan Thomason

Alan Thomason, 55, of Brighton, passed away on Wednesday, October 27 at his home. Mr. Thomason was an animal control officer with Tipton County and a member of the Crossroads Community Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Melanie Thomason; one daughter, Meagan Lovett of Brighton; one son, Dylan Lovett of Burlison; his mother, Stella Ann Thomason of Covington; two sisters, Toni Thomason and Sherry Chaney, both of Covington and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, John Richard Thomason. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 31 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 30 at the funeral home.
