Mary Erwin November 17, 1920 - September 17, 2017 Mary Erwin, 96, of Covington, passed away on Sunday, September 17. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20 at Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Covington Funeral Home. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Judy Erwin of Covington; two grandsons, Jeff Erwin and John Erwin, both of Covington; two sisters, Juanita Mathis of Covington and Hildred Ivey of Illinois; one great grandson, Jonathan Erwin and one great-great grandchild, Gracie Kate Erwin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Erwin; her son, Warner Currie Erwin and five sisters, Catherine Boals, Earline Gillespie, Louise Kitchens, Jean Burgess and Bernice Hanson. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Red Cross for Hurricane relief.
