Nava Goode Jones

Nava Goode Jones January 30, 1938 - August 19, 2017 Nava Jane Goode Jones was born to Jacob Brewer and Dessie May Thompson Goode on January 30, 1938 in Harrison County, near Marshall, Texas. She went to her Heavenly Home on August 19, 2017, the day before her 63rd wedding anniversary. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leroy Jerry Jones. She is also survived by three daughters, Skye Lynn (Cliff) Irion of Munford; Robin Renee (Dan) Massengill of Silver City, NM and Jennifer Glover of Los Lunas, NM and one son, Lyle A.(Julie) Jones of Munford. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 more great grandchildren due in the next 6 months and many beloved extended family members. Nava was preceded in death by her daughter, Trudy Le Wallis and sisters Mary Frances Noble and Martha Lee Hamby. Nava's Going Home Celebration will be held at Gateway Baptist Church, Atoka, on Saturday, August 26th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Nava asked that expressions of sympathy be sent to: Gateway Baptist Church, Mission Trips Fund, 1950 Rosemark Rd., Atoka, TN 38004 or Arizona Southern Baptist Convention, Catalytic Missions, 2240 N.
