Virgil Melvin Seelye

Virgil Melvin Seelye, 78, of Covington, TN, passed away July 13, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 16 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Seelye was a Box Cutting Supervisor at River Wood Packaging and a Little League Baseball coach. He is survived by his mother, Winona Petersen of Edmore, MI; his wife, Bertha Seelye; his daughter, Linda Rowe of Cleburne, TX; three sons, Robert Seelye of Kentwood, MI, Brian Seelye of Fort Worth, TX, and Kenneth Seelye of Irving, TX; his sister, Diana Muller of Grand Rapids, MI; one brother, William Muller of Stanton, MI; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Seelye; one son, Mark Seelye, and one brother, Earl Seelye.
