Steve "Fish" Brasfield September 6, 1943 - July 10, 2017 Steve "Fish" Brasfield, 73, of Covington, passed away on Monday, July 10. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Covington Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Brasfield was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman and was a member of the North American Fur Association. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanette Brasfield. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Brasfield; two sons, Chad Brasfield of Covington and Jimmy Brasfield of Stanton; one daughter, Pamela Black of Covington; two brothers, Bobby Brasfield of Union City and Charles Brasfield of Covington; one sister, Ann Brasfield of Covington; six grandchildren, Cody Brasfield, Don Black, Brittany Ward, Lacie Brasfield, Jade Brewer and Demi Dabney and seven great grandchildren.
