Wayne Olson June 11, 1938 - July 7, 2017 Wayne Olson, 79, of Covington, passed away on Friday, July 7. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 13 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12 at the funeral home. He was a retired molder with the S&R Company and a former security guard at Baptist Hospital-Tipton. He leaves his wife, Mary Olson; four daughters, Jacqueline Olson of Marked Tree, AR, Deanna Boyd of Tallahassee, FL, Lori Walker and Cindy Walker, both of Ripley; four sons, Mike Evelyn of Boston, MA, David Boyd of Munford, Hank Walker of Ripley and Ronnie Walker of Halls; one sister, Cleo Lee of Brookings, SD and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Idella Lenning Olson; two sisters, Phyllis Tinkey and Frances Schueller and two brothers, Darrel Olson and Willard Olson.
