John Taylor July 21, 1949 - June 27, 2017 John Taylor, 67, of Covington, passed away on Tuesday, June 27. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 1 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, June 30 at the funeral home. Mr. Taylor was owner of HVAC Services Company and a U. S. Army Vietnam veteran. He is survived by his wife, Ginger Hill Taylor; two daughters, Diana Marie Taylor of Covington and Jamey Leigh Petersen of Helena, MT; one son, John Edward Taylor, Jr., of Covington; one brother, Paul Taylor of Millington; seven grandchildren, Cody Taylor, Jeffery Taylor, Hunter Taylor, Lesli Kai Taylor, Caitlyn Taylor, all of Covington, Gracie Fay Petersen and Jack Crawford Petersen, both of Montana and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Martha Pugh Taylor; one son, Jeffery Allen Taylor; two brothers, William Taylor and Tommy Lee Taylor and two sisters, Myrtle Perry and Wanda Fay Taylor.
