Bobby Benard August 3, 1937 - June 6, 2017 Bobby Benard, 79, of Covington, passed away on Tuesday, June 6. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 9 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Benard was a retired carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Deverell Benard; two sons, Bobby Lewis Benard and Richard Otis Benard, both of Covington; one daughter, Mary Benard Kelly of Covington; two brothers, Joe Benard and James Benard, both of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Dorothy Coker of Earle, AR and Mary Austin of Whiteville, TN; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Helen Benard and his parents, William and Maggie Benard.
