David Powell March 5, 1973 - May 19, 2017 David Powell, 44, of Brighton, passed away on Friday, May 19. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Alice L. and Edward E. Landeros of Brighton; two sisters, Amy D. Blanchard of Clearwater, FL and Nina N. Landeros of Trenton; one brother, Joshua J. Landeros of Covington and three nephews, Melvin Blanchard of Covington, William Stevens of Kansas and Taylor Landeros of Ruleville, MS.
