Wilma Dianne Jones August 18, 1944 - March 19, 2017 Wilma Dianne Jones, 72, of Eads, passed away on Sunday, March 19. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Charleston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21 at the funeral home. Ms. Jones was a retired machine operator with Sonoco. She is survived by four sons, Mike (Judy) Jones of Cordova, Bobby Jones of Burlison, Chris (Trudy) Jones of Eads and Steve (Kim) Jones of Drummonds; four sisters, Wanda Selph of San Antonio, TX, Mary Edna Simpson of Arlington; Linda Oudin of Sun City, AZ and Judy Bishop of Arlington; one brother, Charlie Smith of Hampshire, IL; five grandchildren, Brittany, Clint, Kyle, Bailey and Hanna and three great grandchildren, Kristopher, Knox and Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Mack Jones; her parents, Woodrow and Mary Ida Smith and two brothers, Everett Smith and Shank Smith. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to either St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or Baptist Trinity Hospice.
