Willie Bearden July 2, 1925 – March 6, 2017 Willie Bearden, 91, of Covington, passed away on Monday, March 6. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m on Wednesday, March 8 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. She was a homemaker. She is survived by four sons, Gene (Brenda) Currington of Hamilton, AL, Jimmy (Linda) Bearden of Covington, Fred (Cathy) Bearden of Rogers, AR and James Bearden; one daughter, Mary Davis of Covington; three sisters, Yvonne Jackson of Illinois, Maxine (Joel) Bone and Bobbie Roach, both of Covington; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollen Bearden; one sister, Marie Russell and three brothers, Virgil Currington, Doyle Currington and Bud Currington.
